Education FAQs

Our Kids Programs offer hands-on, farm-based learning experiences designed to support children’s natural curiosity, confidence, and love of learning.

Nature-based education programs invite children to explore, create, and grow in a supportive farm environment that connects learning to real life.

Using the farm as a “third teacher,” our educators create a holistic, discovery-based learning environment where children learn through hands-on activities and guided exploration. Children engage in real farm experiences, creative play, and age-appropriate lessons using natural learning materials and the highest-quality, locally grown ingredients.

Our experienced educators act as gentle guides, encouraging independence, imagination, and meaningful connections to food systems, nature, and community. Amber Waves Kids Programs help children build foundational skills while developing a deeper understanding of where food comes from and how communities grow.
