Good morning from the farm!
As we close out the month of June and gear up for busy July and August, we are excited to share with you some upcoming additions to our weekly schedule of events at the farm.
Summer Workshop Series
Join us on most Saturdays at 10:30 for workshops on a variety of topics, including flower-arranging, making jam, and baking bread, to name a few! Each session will include a lesson, hands-on activity, and something to take home. Workshops will take place on the brick patio, or inside the market if there is inclement weather. Visit our events page for a complete list of workshops and to sign up.
Farm Chores for Kids
Join a farmer for morning chores! Help us feed the animals and tend to the Explorer’s Garden on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August from 9:30-10:30am. You may spend the entire hour with us or just stop in for a few minutes. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free of charge.
Tour the Fields
Follow a farmer’s footsteps by taking our new self-guided tour of the farm! We will be installing the stations this week, and a colorful map handout will be available soon. Remember to be kind to the many living things in our fields: insects, animals, plants, and soils are all an important part of life here on the farm.
Enjoy this week's box and we hope you will join us for our upcoming educational programs!
