Our guest chef Hillary Sterling started her restaurant career busing tables in Montauk, Long Island; now she’s heading up the field kitchen for our dinner at Amber Waves Farm a few miles down the road. In between, she worked with Bobby Flay, Mario Batali and Missy Robinson. The successful search for ingredients strongly defines a chef’s level of passion. Amber Waves is a place where a chef’s passion takes you. Amanda and Katie’s Amagansett Wheat Project aims to reintroduce amber waves of wheat and other grains to Long Island and chefs around the Northeast. Our table setting will be a field of dreams for both chef and farmer.
